Cherry Creek is a residential area in Denver, Colorado. On its southern edge is the actual “Cherry Creek” creek. The area has numerous bus stops. On its eastern side is Colorado Boulevard, the main road. Cherry Creek is roughly four miles to the southeast of downtown Denver.
In Cherry Creek, you’ll find a good deal of single-family homes, as well as some condominiums. Cherry Creek features welcoming tree-lined streets. The area is filled with restaurants. To the west of Cherry Creek is the exclusive Denver Country Club. There are also great shopping opportunities, including the fabulous Cherry Creek Shopping Center. On the southern side of Cherry Creek is Pulaski Park. On the northwest side of Cherry Creek is James N Manley Park.

Residents of this hip neighborhood can take a shopping trip or take a relaxing walk on the riverside at Cherry Creek Park. Many residents enjoy going to Cherry Creek Shopping Center for a shopping spree or just window shopping. The location of the Cherry Creek neighborhood works great for those who must commute downtown for work but want to live outside the city center. In addition, people can enjoy a night out at one of the many excellent restaurants within Cherry Creek.

Cherry Creek has several excellent restaurants. The Cherry Creek Grill offers a range of food, including seafood and burgers. Also, it allows patrons to eat inside or on their patio. They have a lunch, dinner, and wine menu. Quality Italian is a steakhouse that offers brunch as well as dinner. In addition, it provides spaces for private events. Another excellent Italian restaurant is the Barolo Grill, located in northern Cherry Creek. It provides an upscale dining experience with northern Italian food. Established in 2011, La Merise French Bistro is a moderately priced restaurant that has 75 dishes. When the weather is warmer, patrons can utilize the garden patio. Perch Denver offers women’s clothes, shoes, and accessories.

Things to Do

There is plenty of things for residents of Cherry Creek to do. First held in 1991, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival features music, food, and art. Tennis players can join leagues, play for fun, or take lessons at the Gates Tennis Center. The Gates Tennis Center offers programs for a wide range of age groups. It also has a pro shop that can perform basic racquet maintenance. The James N Manley Park includes a playground and a grassy area that is great for picnics. People can take a trip to the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, a two-story mall, and check out the selection of fashion, food, and more.
The Winter Wanderland holiday event features holiday shopping and thousands of beautiful lights. The Cherry Creek Al Fresco is a multi-day wine and food festival with seminars and events. Residents can also take a short trip downtown and enjoy all the city offers. Just northwest of Cherry Creek, residents can explore the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens. Near Cherry Creek is the Denver Country Club, which is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi River. The country club includes an 18-hole golf course.
